Enabling a policy
Resume a disabled policy on all of its assets. A disabled policy keeps its configuration and its assets, so you do not need to configure it again.
Prerequisites
-
The policy is applied to at least one asset. Cyber Console offers Enable when the policy is disabled on at least one of its assets.
-
Your tenant or one of its child tenants owns the policy. For a policy that a parent tenant owns, the row menu offers only Export.
-
Your role allows you to manage policies of the types that you work with. See Protection.
-
Two-factor authentication is enabled for your user account. If it is not enabled, a dialog asks you to enable it, and the action does not run.
To enable a policy
-
In Cyber Console, go to Protection > Policies > All policies.
-
In the row of the policy, open the row menu, and then click Enable.
The action runs without confirmation, and a message confirms that the policy is enabled.
If the action fails, a message asks you to try again.
You can also enable a policy on the policy details page, under the policy name.
To enable several policies at once, see Running an action on multiple policies.
