Policy details

The details of a policy show what the policy configures, which assets it is applied to, and how it runs on them. The details open when you click the policy name in the policy list.

The policies that you can open and the actions that you can run depend on your role. See Protection.

In the policy details, you can do the following:

• Review the settings of the policy on the Configuration tab. You cannot change the settings on this tab. You also see the status of each module on the assets of the policy. The tooltip of the status icon shows how many assets have each status.

• Check the assets of the policy on the Assets tab.

• Resolve compatibility issues on the Issues tab. For example, remove an asset from the policy, disable the conflicting policies, or update the agent. The tab appears only when assets of the policy have compatibility issues.

• Review how the policy ran on the Activities tab, and its alerts on the Alerts tab.

You can also disable or export the policy. For a policy that is applied to no asset, you can only export it. See Disabling a policy and Exporting a policy.
