December release of Acronis Cyber Cloud empowers MSPs to keep clients protected

For IT service providers, the challenge of ensuring clients are protected has never been more acute than in 2020. That’s why Acronis has spent the past 12 months helping you deliver cyber protection to your clients in an easy, efficient, and secure way.

This year, we introduced monthly releases for the Acronis Cyber Cloud platform, delivered more partner enablement by launching the Acronis Academy, and opened more data centers across the globe to ensure availability, access, and data sovereignty.

But the year isn’t over yet and we have one more release of Acronis Cyber Cloud coming that will help you further protect your clients and their data.

In our December release, there are several enhancements that will increase the security posture of your clients, simplify the management efforts you spend protecting them, and deliver new capabilities to keep their data private and authentic. Among these enhancements are:

• Ransomware protection for Linux machines

Protect all the data on Linux systems with Acronis Active Protection technology, our advanced anti-ransomware technology. The AI-enhanced Acronis Active Protection automatically detects and stops malicious activity, and then automatically recovers any affected data – minimizing downtime and streamlining recovery efforts.

• Software and hardware inventory collection

Save time and effort by getting up-to-date software and hardware inventory information. You can discover all of the software/hardware assets installed on client machines, choosing between automatic and on-demand scans. In addition, you can browse and filter software/hardware assets by multiple criteria, easily generate inventory reports, and auto-delete records once a machine or tenant is removed.

• Acronis Cyber Notary Cloud e-signature API

Customize, integrate and extend your services with advanced electronic signature functionality. You’ll enable easy, efficient and secure online signing of files with embeddable e-signatures, no matter where files are stored.
