Central to our business strategy is Acronis’ commitment to helping our service provider partners use our solutions how they want. After all, many of them have spent years building their business and they have systems in place that they rely on – we don’t want to interfere with that.
As a result, we’ve worked hard to ensure Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud – which unifies backup, cybersecurity, and protection management capabilities in one solution designed for MSPs – integrates with the popular RMM and PSA systems that service providers rely on.
Recently, we added to our list of integrations so that Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud can now be monitored and run via the Kaseya VSA platform.
Like the deep integrations we already have with other popular RMM/PSA platforms – including ConnectWise, Atera, and Autotask – our integration with Kaseya VSA ensures channel partners can quickly and easily deploy and manage Acronis’ single-agent cyber protection solution.
The need for RMM and PSA integration
One of the challenges facing today’s MSP is that to counter the tremendous number of cyberthreats, they have to juggle multiple solutions and management tools. In fact, a recent survey revealed that 70% of MSPs rely on up to five different security vendors.
From a security and management standpoint, jumping between different solutions and using multiple interfaces can cause an MSP to miss alerts, threats, or critical updates — putting their clients’ data in danger.
With Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud’s integrations, service providers can centrally monitor and manage all of their Acronis workloads and alerts within the interface of their favorite RMM / PSA system. That means provisioning services, managing devices and protection plans, ticketing, reporting, etc. – all through a central system.
So if an MSP relies on Kaseya VSA, for example, they can now track the protection status of client workloads and resolve issues directly from the VSA interface – without the need to switch between different solutions and management consoles.
That means they spend less time on administrative tasks and more on growing their businesses.
MSPs embrace Acronis integrations
“As an MSP begins to scale, this kind of platform integration from Kaseya and Acronis is critical to unlocking efficiency, consistency and greater profitability. The magic of these APIs is they enable the critical productivity that MSPs need to survive and thrive in 2021,” observed Karl Palachuk, IT consultant and the founder/president of the Sacramento SMB IT Professionals Group.
Several of the MSPs who participated in the beta program of the Kaseya VSA integration echoed Palachuk’s thoughts, noting how Acronis’ integration streamlines their efforts in delivering comprehensive cyber protection.
“As we continue to operate in the digital workplace due to the pandemic, Acronis offers advanced technology that enables partners to increase and strengthen their clients’ security stack,” said Nick Heddy, Chief Revenue Officer at Pax8. “The integration with Kaseya’s open and unified RMM tool, VSA, enhances the solution to provide Pax8 partners with a more robust security offering. It enables them to easily monitor and manage all endpoints and networks while proactively increasing their clients’ security posture. This type of integration is more important than ever, as MSPs work to protect their clients against rising cybersecurity threats.”
Empowering MSP partners
Technical advances like Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud’s integrations are only one way we’re putting the power in the hands of our partners.
- In February, we introduced our new #CyberFit Partner Program to support the development of cloud-focused MSPs and resellers with greater performance-based benefits and financial incentives.
- In March, we unveiling a no-charge version of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud so our partners can deliver comprehensive cyber protection for all client endpoints for little to no upfront costs.
- And we just launched a new partner portal that gives easy access to the content, tools, and training that can help MSPs build a successful – and profitable – cyber protection program.
“As a channel-centric partner, we created Acronis Cyber Protect to empower service providers with comprehensive cyber protection that easily integrates with the tools they already use so they can protect more clients and more workloads per employee,” said Serg “SB” Bell, Acronis’ Founder and CEO.
After all, Acronis is only successful if our partners are successful, which is why we’re committed to supporting and enabling your business.
