New MSP Initiative Provides Incremental Business Opportunities to Channel Partners
London, UK, 6 June, 2011 Acronis, a leading provider of easy to use disaster recovery and data protection solutions for physical, virtual and cloud environments, today launched a new initiative targeting Managed Services Providers (MSPs).
Responding to the strong demand from its partner community, the Acronis MSP Programme offers a monthly subscription-based licensing model for MSPs who would like to provide award-winning Acronis® Backup & Recovery™ 10 products as part of managed services to their customers.
The programme is designed with a low entry cost and flexibility in licensing so partners can get up and running quickly and benefit from recurring, predictable revenue which grows as their business scales. Partners also have the ability to easily move licenses between customers.
Softcat has become the first software licensor in the UK to join the initiative and is now offering Acronis MSP licenses.
"We are seeing a strong demand from our MSP community for cost effective backup and recovery software. Acronis is perfect for this with its established disk imaging disaster recovery technology and its channel driven model," explains Dave Simpson, Commercial Director at Softcat.
As part of the initiative, Softcat is also offering the vendor's optional Acronis Academy training programme to MSPs. The in-depth training and certification programme provides partners with the technical skills they require in order to provide Acronis Backup & Recovery 10.
