We recently held our latest Partner Training Program event here at nScaled headquarters in San Francisco. We’ve been signing up new channel partners in the US and UK and it was time to get them together for a couple days of in-depth training – how to sell, implement and support nScaled cloud services.
We asked our partners to tell us, in their own words, why they had partnered with nScaled. In summary, their reasons were:
- Differentiation. Our partners sell the same backup and disaster recovery solutions that all the other resellers do, so it can be hard to cut through the noise. Having nScaled’s cloud services in their catalog gives them something different – and better! – to offer.
- Growth with margins. Selling and supporting nScaled services brings in good revenues to the channel partners but they don’t have to staff up in a linear fashion, so margins are better.
- Subscription revenue stream. nScaled services are subscriptions, with monthly invoicing and revenues. This predictable, stable (but growing) revenue stream is a nice complement to the project based revenues they get from other solutions.
- A quick way to the cloud. Our partners’ customers are interested in cloud offerings, and most of our partners aren’t set up to build their own. Reselling nScaled gives them instant access to cloud services so they can satisfy customer demand without a long development phase.
