Acronis Welcomes Steve Goh as Vice President/GM of Sales for Asia-Pacific & Emerging Markets

Singapore, 13 October 2015 - Acronis®, the global leader in new generation data protection, today announced the appointment of Steve Goh as Vice President/GM of Sales for Asia-Pacific & Emerging Markets. In this role, Mr. Goh is responsible for deploying and executing Acronis strategy, growing sales, and extending the company's footprint in these regions.

Mr. Goh will focus on restructuring, building, and motivating teams and driving growth via Channel & Alliances Sales, as well as Direct and Enterprise Sales.

In the coming years, 50% of Acronis total revenue is expected to come from Asia, already supported by strong sales indicators, rapid adoption of Acronis cloud throughout the region and partnerships with leading distributors, including Tech Titan in China and NTS Group in Vietnam. Mr. Goh's expertise and experience will ensure that Acronis sustains the growth momentum and solidifies the position as the leading data protection vendor in these markets.

Mr. Goh comes with 25 years of experience in the IT industry holding several senior management positions in sales and marketing. He brings along great experience driving business growth across Enterprise, Small Medium, Public Sector, OEM and Retail business segments. Steve was based in China, driving partner ecosystem and helping companies to grow in Greater China region. He also held position of Dean at Microsoft China University, growing the talent pool in China, and helping the company be successful as part of China's growing economy.

Over the past 13 years, Mr. Goh worked for Microsoft Asia, being responsible for a number of portfolios in the Enterprise, SMB, and, OEM segments in Singapore and China, consistently exceeding sales targets by developing and adopting new programs, streamlining partner management and increasing partner satisfaction.
