Channel Strong in Atlanta: Weathering the storm

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud
for service providers

The second stop of this week’s leg of the Channel Strong: Positive Vibes Tour brought us into Atlanta, GA. The only downside is rainstorms rolled into town with us, which caused a bit of a wet experience.

Even though it rained the whole time, we had a good turn out and a lot of fun. As they say in the theater, “the show must go on!”

Channel’s cloud experience pays off

While in Atlanta, we were greeted by our awesome hosts, Dynamic Quest. Dave Hampson, VP of Technology Development for Dynamic Quest, told us all about their business and how they’ve fared during the recent economic slowdown. The short version is: Business is good for this MSP.

Dynamic Quest picked up a bunch of new business as the COVID-19 pandemic forced everyone to move out of traditional office space and into our homes to work. Dave explained their company was already well-versed in remote support technologies and the cloud, so their existing clients were good.

They really shined in bringing new clients on board, however. With their established VOIP, network, and cloud support solutions, Dynamic Quest was able to quickly and safely get new clients working from anywhere they had internet access.

In fact, Dave remarked, “If we didn’t know how to do cloud, we would have been sunk!”

Jeff Lee President of Marietta, GA-based Carceron echoed Dave’s sentiment. He added that they were ready for the remote work situation, but if they hadn’t been proficient in cloud technologies, they would have had a much harder time.

Moving on

Day Two in Georgia was fantastic, so thanks to everyone who came out to make it such a great time.

As the Channel Strong: Positive Vibes Tour moves on and gets closer to the end of our 7,000-mile trek, the next stop will be in Charlotte and Raleigh, NC. We hope to see you there!
