Priority Health Selects Acronis for Disaster Recovery

July 24, 2007, Paris, France - Priority Health, a nationally recognized health plan company based in Michigan, selected Acronis EMEA (www.acronis.com/en-eu/), a leading developer of storage management software to provide its disaster recovery solution for the health plan's data center.

The plan, with more than 585,000 members, was faced with a problem of managing an increasing number of Windows servers with a limited number of staff. The company opted for Acronis True Image Enterprise Server to ensure that should an unplanned system outage hit the servers, they could be restored in minutes.

"The Acronis solution has been very successful," said Matt Cain, Windows Server Engineering Supervisor at Priority Health. "Acronis True Image has become a standard tool for our server administrators. It's saved us many hours and allowed us to answer requirements for server availability in ways we couldn't accomplish otherwise."

"Acronis recognizes the special needs of all first responders in the case of an emergency, be they police, fire or medical personnel," said Walter Scott, CEO of Acronis. "Acronis is proud to help ensure Priority Health and its half a million members will have uninterrupted service."

Terms of the deal were not released.
