Customers can create their backup with Acronis directly in the IONOS data center

The challenge
When IONOS decided to enter the cloud business in recent years, they looked for a competent security partner. IONOS Cloud platform customers within the web or software development sector require backup services and have high demands on backup speed due to their agile development cycles.
The solution
In close collaboration, IONOS and Acronis planned their partnership with the decision for the cloud. Since the rollout, the Acronis backup solution is offered in the IONOS Cloud. With a management function, the IONOS customer can create a backup in the data center and directly access the Acronis backup service as a fully integrated solution of the IONOS Cloud.
The benefits
The Acronis backup solution is mainly used as a service of the IONOS Cloud, especially in the small and medium-sized enterprise sector. Development customers also receive the necessary backup speed. IONOS is working on integrating additional services from the Acronis security portfolio into their cloud interface in the long term. In addition, IONOS supports Acronis managed service providers in positioning Acronis products in the market.
