In an era where cybercrime is becoming increasingly sophisticated and persistent, we are dedicated to providing our partners and their clients with the best and most satisfying cyber protection experience. To achieve this, we continuously improve our solutions, ensuring the utmost protection for your clients' data, increased efficiency for your team, and reduced costs.

This month, we are proud to announce that Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud has been enhanced with a range of new features in release 23.03 that are aimed at improving the overall security of your clients’ organization and streamlining your operations. Our team has been hard at work on these new features, and we're confident that they will further strengthen our position as a leader in the service provider cybersecurity space.

Advanced Backup: Remotely boot media

With Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud 23.03, you can manage bootable media remotely via a web interface — even when there is no screen available to access the workload. This enables you to streamline your operations and execute remote actions with ease, including recovery, reboot, shutdown, downloading system information and monitoring the status of the boot media.

With this feature, you can ensure that clients’ systems are up and running at all times, without the need for on-site support.

Advanced Management: Automatically authenticate remote connections using saved credentials

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud now includes a new feature that reduces overload and manual work for technicians: the automatic authentication of web connections using saved credentials. This feature enables instant connections to remote workloads for troubleshooting without any additional steps, streamlining the entire process.

By automatically authenticating web connections using saved credentials, you can eliminate the need for technicians to manually enter login information, saving time and reducing the risk of error. This update also eliminates the risk of compatibility issues between agent plans and selected workloads, ensuring that all systems are fully operational and running smoothly.

Advanced Files Cloud: Streamline file sharing with Share Groups Acronis Files Cloud now offers a simple and efficient way to share cloud files with multiple team members. With the ability to create Share Groups, add team members, and streamline sharing using an email link, team collaboration has never been easier.

By creating Share Groups, you can easily manage access to files and folders for multiple team members, streamlining the sharing process and reducing the risk of errors. Adding team members to Share Groups is quick and easy, and once added, you can automatically share files with all group members.

Sharing files via an email link improves team collaboration, further streamlines the process and facilitates communication. Plus, with automatic sharing to all members of a Share Group, you can ensure that everyone is on the same page and has access to the same files and information.

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud console: View what’s new

The March release of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud includes a new feature that makes it easier than ever to stay up to date with the latest capabilities. With the addition of a link in the Cyber Protection console, you can quickly access the "What's new" dialog and review all of the new features and enhancements included in the latest software releases at any time.

This new feature is designed to streamline the process of keeping your systems up to date, ensuring that you are always aware of the latest capabilities and improvements.

NinjaOne version 2.0 integration

The latest version that provides integration between Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud and NinjaOne can save time and money by automatically or manually creating and synchronizing client tenants in Acronis, based on your customers in NinjaOne RMM.

The configurable monitoring based on Acronis data in NinjaOne RMM provides enhanced visibility and control over your customers' device status and alerts, further streamlining your workflow. By synchronizing tickets in NinjaOne RMM with Acronis alerts, you can also improve your ticket management and resolution process.

Support for Class 1 and Class 2 usage reporting in PSA integrations

In this release, we have made significant updates to our billing and usage reporting features for both free and paid storage. With these updates, you now have greater flexibility and control over how you track and report your clients’ storage usage.

With this new functionality, you can easily separate billing and usage reporting for your clients’ Microsoft 365 seats and any additional paid storage your customers may require. This allows you to provide your clients with more detailed information about their storage usage, which can help them better understand their needs and make informed decisions about their storage requirements.

Furthermore, we've expanded our support for Class 1 and Class 2 usage reporting to include integrations with Kaseya BMS and HaloPSA, in addition to ConnectWise Manage and Autotask PSA where it was already supported.

Partner tenant billing for Autotask PSA

With version 23.03, we have included our new partner tenant billing feature, designed to simplify your billing process and save you time and effort. With this feature, you can now automatically bill partner tenants under your Acronis account without the need to aggregate billing for each customer tenant within the sub-partner tenant.

Partner tenant billing also provides aggregate usage reports for partner tenants under your MSP partner tenant, giving you increased visibility and control over your business operations. With these reports, you can easily track and monitor partner tenant usage, making it easier to manage and optimize your resources.

We understand the importance of streamlining your business processes, which is why we've made partner tenant billing available through our integrations with Autotask PSA, in addition to ConnectWise Manage where it was already supported.

Support for range offering items in PSA integrations

We have now added support for range offering items in our integrations with ConnectWise Manage, Autotask PSA, Kaseya BMS, and HaloPSA. With this update, you can now easily report the total usage of Acronis products based on your preferred billing cycle — whether it's the current or previous calendar month, or a custom billing month with a configurable start date. This level of flexibility allows you to align your billing cycle with your business needs and invoicing processes, ultimately saving you time and reducing the risk of errors.

By upgrading your PSA integrations with our range offering item support, you'll enjoy more accuracy and flexibility in your reporting, leading to a more efficient and streamlined billing process.
