As you probably know, Acronis not only has an amazing set of R&D laboratories but also close associations with a number of leading academic institutions. We placed a long-shot bet on quantum backup additions to our AnyData Technology, and I am please to tell you that it has paid off in spades. We have successfully created an entangled, yet stable quantum system that stores users' data reliably and at an incredibly high density.
The entire unit is one cubic meter, and the initial version has a capacity almost double what we expected because of our simultaneous use of both the longitudinal and transverse shape of the stored spin wave modes. Pending legal filings, I am unable to disclose any more detail and, unfortunately, we have suffered a minor setback: We misplaced the prototype, codenamed Heisenberg, and we cannot seem to locate it. When we think we have found it, the unit moves at an unknown velocity. And when we focus on the velocity, it moves to an unknown location. Our teams are looking for it and, as soon as we find it, I will share more news.
... Happy April 1.
