Dusett kicks off his session by stating, “The role of distribution is changing due to three factors.” First, he explains that service providers must now leverage their strengths — their winning proposition — to deliver more specialized services and expertise.
Second, Dusett points out that the cloud has shifted the paradigm for growth. Positive growth is now measured vis-à-vis market growth. If you are not exceeding market growth, you are losing market share. And lastly, today’s successful service providers must integrate their clients’ lifetime value in all they do — from deciding which clients to acquire to how they can deliver a customer experience that ensures growth and profitability over time.
