Unveiling Acronis Cyber Backup SCS: Hardened Backup for Air-Gapped Networks

Based on the same code as Acronis SCS’ own Department of Defense Information Network Approved Products List (DoDIN APL) certified solution, Acronis Cyber Backup SCS Hardened Edition features FIPS-validated encryption and RSA key generation, as well as Intel-pioneered, hardware-based random number generation methods to ensure maximum entropy. Already the hardened backup solution has earned Common Criteria certification and is on its way to earning FIPS 140-2 certification, as well.

What’s more, all of Acronis Cyber Backup SCS Hardened Edition’s defensive capabilities have been reviewed and tested by third-party organizations prior to release to ensure that potential users can depend upon the protection offered by the solution.

In addition to enhancing the security of networks, Acronis Cyber Backup SCS Hardened Edition minimizes the time IT teams previously spent on tedious operational tasks, addressing false alerts, and responding to failed outbound communications – common issues for organizations that historically applied non-hardened solutions to air-gapped networks.
