Acronis Celebrates Success with Ingram Micro at Cloud Summit X and Enhances Integration with CloudBlue

Cloud relationship between long-time partners delivers triple-digit growth in YoY revenue

Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection and hybrid cloud storage, took the opportunity at the Cloud Summit X event in San Diego, CA to celebrate the results of its cloud relationship with Ingram Micro. The long-time partners inked a cloud agreement during the second half of 2018 that provided access to new and enhanced cloud-based cyber protection solutions from Acronis.

The impact was immediate, resulting in a year-over-year revenue increase of 163 percent - with 33 percent of all 2018 billings occurring in Q4.

"As the top cloud reseller, Ingram Micro is the leading distributor for Acronis' cloud-based solutions - handling the majority of our partners and recruiting nearly twice the number of new partners last year than anyone else," said Pat Hurley, VP & GM, Americas Acronis. "As more and more service providers adopt the Acronis Data Cloud platform and our unique approach to cyber protection, Ingram Micro is playing a huge role in driving the success of our innovative cloud-based solutions."

Acronis also noted that this month will see the launch of APS Connect, a new reseller-centric integration between the Acronis Data Cloud platform and CloudBlue, Ingram Micro's hyperscale digital platform that helps customers streamline cloud operations, save time and money, and revolutionize their businesses overnight. A consumer-centric integration is also planned for Q2 2019.

Success of Cloud Summit X

While participating at the Cloud Summit X event, Acronis is making a point of lauding Ingram Micro - both for 10 years of successful partner summits, but also for the impact the company has had on the industry in general, and for Acronis in particular.

At the summit, Acronis will lend its expertise to help attendees grow their cloud-services businesses. The company will host a session for service providers aimed at improving profitability by increasing their offering while lowering their overhead.

The session, called Data Protection Business Hacks, takes place onWednesday, March 13 in the Aqua Ballroom of the Hilton San Diego Bayfront beginning at 4 pm.
