U.S. and European law enforcement agencies have arrested two ransomware operators in Ukraine, following a series of coordinated attacks against industrial groups in Europe and North America.
Europol, the French National Gendarmerie, the Ukrainian National Police, and the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation worked together to identify and detain the two, who are allegedly responsible for up to €70 million in extortion demands. Police seized $375,000 in cash, two luxury cars, and $1.3 million in cryptocurrency.
