#AcronisCyberFitSummit Sponsor Spotlight: ThreatLocker

Acronis #CyberFit Summit

Acronis is excited to have ThreatLocker as a sponsor of the Acronis #CyberFit Summit in Schaffhausen this year.

The team at ThreatLocker has been developing cybersecurity tools for decades, including programs to enhance email and content security. They believe that organizations should have complete control of their networks and should not have to live in fear of the next malware attack.

ThreatLocker’s powerful suite of security tools is designed so that everyone from businesses to government agencies to academic institutions can directly control exactly what applications run on their networks. And as they describe their ultimate mission, “We envision a future in which all organizations can chart their own course free from the influence of cybercriminals and the damage their incursions cause, and our team of veteran cybersecurity professionals created ThreatLocker to make this vision a reality.”

Ahead of the Summit, we connected with Danny Jenkins, CEO of ThreatLocker, to weigh in on the company’s latest advances and what they’re most looking forward to at the Acronis #CyberFit Summit in Schaffhausen!

In a nutshell, what should our attendees know about your organization and what you can do to help make theirs more successful?

ThreatLocker is a zero-trust endpoint security solution. Using a multitude of methods, such as application whitelisting, ringfencing, storage control and user permission management, we can secure your machines, and customers, to provide total endpoint security.

What are you most looking forward to at the Acronis #CyberFit Summit?

Here at ThreatLocker, our main goal is to educate our partners on all things cybersecurity and enable them to make the best security decisions for their customers. With that said, we are really looking forward to our keynote session so we can show you how to stop chasing and start defending against ransomware with Zero Trust.

What track, session, or event, are you most excited about at the Acronis #CyberFit Summit?

We are really looking forward to the whole event! It will be great to see so many people coming together to talk about a topic we are all so passionate about.

Why did you decide to partner with Acronis for the #CyberFit Summit?

After seeing the wide variety of events that Acronis had been running, we thought that this would be a great way to get our message of security and education out!

How can clients benefit from your services/products?

ThreatLocker is a zero-trust endpoint security solution. We are able to provide total security using a four-side approach to ensure that a machine is not able to be used in a malicious attack. The main benefit that we provide to our partners is peace of mind. Peace of mind that their customers' machines are safe and secure.

What are the biggest changes you expect to hit the industry in the next year?

The threat to businesses is growing rapidly, whether it’s SMBs or multibillion-dollar organizations such as Colonial Pipeline. Hackers and threat actors are attacking businesses, large and small, with ransomware attacks, data breaches and more. I would expect a huge shift towards securing organizations against attacks.

Tell us your best piece of business advice for the IT channel audience at the Summit!

I would recommend focusing on building software stacks that support your business, protect your customers, and enable you to grow.
