Acronis Signs OEM Agreement with Ace Computers

May 31, 2006, Burlington, MA — Acronis, Inc. (www.acronis.com), the technological leader in storage management software, announced that Ace Computer Inc.; of Arlington Heights;, IL, has signed an OEM agreement to include Acronis True Image disaster recovery and backup software with systems that Ace builds for government and military customers, as well as corporate clients.

Ace Computer plans to integrate Acronis True Image in its families of laptops, desktops and servers currently being built for US government use. "We see Acronis True Image as an ideal, complementary technology for our government systems business," said John Samborski, vice president of Ace. "The government demands world-class technology for systems used aboard ships, planes and other military vehicles, as well as in office environments," he said. "Using a best-of-breed disk imaging system in conjunction with our militarized and commercial computers provides a complete solution for our corporate and government customers."

Ace began preinstalling Acronis True Image in its consumer family of award-winning media servers earlier this year. That system, the LHD Limited Media Server, won a Best of Innovation Award for the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show in January and has recently been named "Best Buy — High End Media Center" by Consumers Digest Magazine.

"Acronis is proud that our disaster recovery software is finding new ways to enhance the security of the United States government and our military," said Acronis CEO Walter Scott. "We are expanding our sales into a variety of civilian agencies and government branches, including the U.S. House of Representatives and various Executive Branch agencies, as well as virtually all branches of the military. This agreement with Ace Computers, a prime government contractor, gives us entree into additional military applications."
