Acronis Agreement With Red River Puts Acronis True Image on GSA Schedule

October 16, 2007, Burlington, MA - Acronis, Inc. (www.acronis.com/en-us/), a provider of affordable, scalable storage management and disaster recovery software, announced that the Acronis True Image family of disaster recovery and virtualization migration products will be available on the US Government's General Services Administration's (GSA) Government Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) list. The listing is a result of Acronis' partnership with Red River Computer Company, a worldwide provider of information technology solutions to the United States Federal government, as well as its prime and sub-contractors.

A Government Wide Acquisition Contract is a task-order or delivery-order contract for information technology established by one agency for government-wide use, according to a US government web site.

"Red River is excited to take our relationship with Acronis to the next level by offering their market-leading products on our GSA Schedule," said Kurt Gantrish, senior manager for Strategic Software Products at Red River. "Red River continues to build a technology practice area around Acronis' disk management, security and back-up solutions that will only be strengthened by the addition of the GSA GWAC vehicle."

"Our partnership with Red River is very important as we expand our outreach to the government sector," said Eric Dougherty, director of Channel Sales for Acronis. "The ability to securely backup and quickly recover data from a mishap with a cost-effective solution is critical to agencies that deal with and serve the tax-paying public."
