Recertification courses for 2025
If you completed a course in 2024 or earlier, we now offer recertification courses to ensure you stay up to date with the latest product developments. The recertification process is designed to be more efficient, enabling you to refresh your knowledge and maintain your certifications without having to start from scratch. Simplified learning pathways
To make it easier for partners to qualify for certification training, we've introduced a streamlined learning pathway within the Acronis Partner Program. The journey now begins with the Intro to Acronis course (formerly known as the Fundamentals course), followed by core courses on backup, disaster recovery, PSA, security and Microsoft 365. These foundational courses are essential for both technical and sales professionals, covering key use cases, demos and technical overviews.
From there, learners can choose between two specialized paths:
- Sales path – Focused on objection handling, qualifying questions, case studies and effective selling strategies.
- Technical path – Deep dives into advanced features, including backup, disaster recovery, security management, and cutting-edge topics such as EDR, XDR and MDR.
Professional-level courses for 2025
This year, we are expanding our professional-level courses to offer even deeper expertise. The Sales Professional track covers practical selling strategies for backup, disaster recovery, and professional services, while the Technical Professional track offers in-depth training on advanced security solutions. If you're looking to gain a competitive edge in cybersecurity, these courses are a must.
Certification requirements for 2025
Our Partner Program still requires partners to maintain a specific number of certifications:
- Gold partners need at least two employees with four completed courses each.
- Platinum partners need at least four employees with four completed courses each.
Many partners go beyond the minimum — some individuals have completed up to 20 certifications, making them extraordinarily well-prepared for business growth and customer success!
New learning paths for first-time learners
For first-time learners, we recommend starting with the Intro to Acronis course, followed by a foundational course in backup, disaster recovery, Microsoft 365 or security. From there, you can advance to our Sales Pro courses to sharpen your selling strategies or move into deeper technical training with our Tech Pro courses, covering topics like security awareness, Microsoft 365 posture management and more.
Returning learners can quickly get recertified with short, focused update courses — typically just 20 minutes long. These will keep you informed on product updates and new features while ensuring compliance with the Partner Program.
Live training and boot camps
We continue to expand our live training opportunities, including:
- Quarterly Zoom training in multiple regions and languages.
- Partner boot camps – In 2024, we hosted 88 boot camps worldwide, and we plan to offer even more in 2025.
- Partner coaching – Custom training programs tailored specifically for large distributors and platinum partners.

Expanding MSP Academy and New MSP Academy Pro
Our MSP Academy remains a vital resource for new MSP professionals, providing vendor-neutral training on MSP operations, sales, and technical best practices. This year, we're launching MSP Academy Pro, a program designed for experienced technicians looking to upskill further.
The first MSP Academy Pro course, titled "Compliance to Competitive Advantage," is a four-week deep dive into compliance and security.
This paid course will feature:
- Hands-on labs
- Expert-led webinars
- Cutting-edge compliance tools
