CRN compiles an annual list of the top 50 executives who drive strategy and set the channel agenda for their companies. For the third year in a row, the publication has named our own Alex Ruslyakov a 2024 Channel Chief. Alex's inclusion on this esteemed list for three consecutive years is a testament to his 17-year tenure at Acronis, his partner-first approach and his team's effectiveness in helping MSPs, resellers and distributors accelerate their business growth.

As head of the Global Channel organization at Acronis, Alex has served as Channel Chief since late 2020. He drives worldwide partner programs and partner account management functions, focusing on increasing the Acronis partner ecosystem and fueling the growth of our partners. Before becoming Channel Chief, Alex held several positions at Acronis, including VP of Global Sales Engineering.

Putting partners first with enhanced incentives

To incentivize our 20,000+ MSP partners, the Partner Program has introduced an additional 10% rebate for MSPs who achieve their targets on security offerings and other Acronis advanced packs. Distributors are also rewarded for their performance achievements in ARR growth and incremental active MSPs. These adjustments demonstrate Alex’s and the whole Acronis team’s commitment to partner success and growth.

Acronis recently announced the native integration of its Advanced Security + EDR (endpoint detection and response) solution. This single solution, tailored for MSPs, offers competitive pricing and empowers partners to provide comprehensive cyber protection to their clients. The Sales Development Funds (SDF) Program further supports partners in achieving their growth goals by providing MDF and rebates based on their commitment to fast growth.

Expanding partner opportunities

Building on the success of #TeamUp, a sports marketing program for MSPs, Acronis is introducing the 'Sports Ignite' program. This initiative provides midsize and smaller partners the unique opportunity to deliver Acronis Cyber Protection Cloud solutions to professional sports teams worldwide. By expanding their reach into the sports industry, MSPs unlock new growth opportunities while strengthening their partnerships with Acronis.

Elevating MSPs through training and certifications

Acronis Academy offers a host of on-demand, self-paced e-learning courses and certification programs that empower individuals and MSPs to enhance their cybersecurity skills and knowledge. We offer sales and technical skills whether someone is seeking professional certifications or starting an MSP business.

We’ve determined that partners who took our certification training increased their revenue from Acronis sales by 60%. They also saved time and increased cost effectiveness by logging 40% fewer support tickets. This means less churn and more time they spend growing their business.

Acronis recently introduced MSP Academy to assist MSPs in growing their organizations with business and technical training. Last month, we introduced 19 additional modules and over 100 videos. This vendor-neutral content allows MSPs to elevate their businesses and gain the knowledge and skills they need to thrive.

Both Academy offerings allow MSPs to earn Credly badges. These credentials prove an MSP’s capabilities and commitment to delivering high-quality services. By staying current on the latest cybersecurity industry trends and technologies, the MSP will provide outstanding services to its clients.
