Acronis
Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud
for service providers

Acronis is pretty vocal in its belief that traditional approaches to backup are outdated and obsolete. Modern strategies and solutions must take a holistic view that merges data protect with cybersecurity – creating the new IT discipline called cyber protection. (Of note, here is an excellent whitepaper by IDC on the emergence of this new category).

This worldview has already led Acronis to develop award-winning technologies of anti-ransomware and cryptojacking defense that have been proven extremely effective by independent testing labs like NioGuard and AV Test.

Building on this momentum, one of the primary announcements at Acronis Global Cyber Summit 2019 was launching the beta program for Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, a new solution that integrates backup with full-stack next-generation anti-malware protection and comprehensive endpoint management tools. It includes things like endpoint protection, patch management, vulnerability assessments, and AI-based hard drive failure detection, and delivers them all through single product and a single console.

With Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, which is part of our Acronis Cyber Cloud platform for service providers, launching later this month, we thought we’d share the reactions several of our MSP partners had of the new solution.

The MSP community reacts

At the Summit, we interviewed several partners about their impressions of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud based on keynotes and product demos. We wanted to highlight of few of these video case studies share the excitement that our partners see.

The first service provider partner we spoke with was an Israeli MSP named Reline IT Solutions. We spoke with their CEO, Roy Adir, who ended our discussion by saying To give our customers the cybersecurity support they need – and to control everything from one point – it’s amazing. We are going to do a lot of business with [Acronis Cyber Protect].”

Our second chat was with Steve Wagner, Director of Operations at UK-based MSP, Signal IT Solutions. For an MSP that already has a significant security focus, it was really nice to hear Steve say, “It’s really good that Acronis solutions cater to GDPR requirements, as this is important to many of our clients. There is a big growth potential for us with Acronis and mostly it’s around cybersecurity. We see Acronis as an integral part of this opportunity.”

The third interview was with Sahara.Net, and we spoke with Jamal Nawwaf Fandi Anakreh, Global Business Manager. Jamal noted that Sahara.Net is, “Providing Acronis Cyber Backup as a bundle to our cloud clients… we plan to roll out the new cybersecurity services [of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud] as well.”
