Customers share feedback in the upper-end midmarket and large-enterprise environments, as defined by Gartner
Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection and hybrid cloud solutions currently celebrating its 15-year anniversary, today announced it is once again a 2018 Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice for Data Center Backup and Recovery Solutions.
The Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice Distinction is based on feedback and ratings from end-user professionals who have experience purchasing, implementing and/or using the product or service. The rigorous criteria also consider the number of reviews and the overall user ratings.
Acronis received 4.5 out of 5 stars from more than 100 verified customer reviews as of November 15, 2018 for its Acronis Backup and Acronis Backup Cloud offerings. To be named a Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice, a vendor must have a minimum of 50 published reviews with an average overall rating of 4.2 stars or higher.
Gartner defines the data center backup and recovery software market as being focused on providing backup capabilities for the upper-end midmarket (500 to 999 employees) and large-enterprise (1,000 employees or greater) environments.
Earned recognition
Some of the reviews that contributed to Acronis' rating were from companies with revenue between $500 million and $3 billion. Highlights include:

"I was recommended to use Acronis by my computer specialist. This has been a great program for backing up both my laptop and my desktop. Analyst, finance industry
"Once we deployed this service and migrated off of our original cloud backup, we haven't looked back. I just wish the alerting and the speed was a little bit better. Still, we don't have any reason to change off of Acronis and we're happy with the choice." Chief Operating Officer, and HIPAA Priva
"Our customers are the foundation of our business and for the past 15 years we've celebrated our successes together," said Serg Bell, CEO of Acronis.
