Acronis is fully committed to helping managed service providers (MSPs) provide the very best cyber protection services to their clients. Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud serves as a single, easy-to-manage solution that eliminates the complexity and risk associated with too many non-integrated point solutions. It helps them make more effective use of their resources and empowers them to deliver total peace of mind for their clients.
This is what makes the March release of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud so exciting. With several new enhancements, Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud now gives MSPs more flexibility and control in the way they manage clients’ systems and infrastructure, resulting in better cyber protection.
The new release of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud makes all of this possible with the following updates.
Disaster recovery of Azure VMs
MSPs can now perform disaster recovery failover from Azure VMs to Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud. The valuable new capability provides much better protection against Azure outages in the public cloud.
MSPs will also benefit by using the Acronis simple, predictable monthly billing model — a clear advantage over traditional Azure cloud and disaster recovery pricing. For example, the Acronis model charges for data storage, but not for outbound network traffic or the use of hot disks.
Antimalware for Apple M1 ARM-based workloads
Now MSPs can protect and manage all Mac-based devices for their clients, regardless of the hardware inside. This new update to Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud enables any MSP to fully extend their antimalware services to an ever-growing audience and market of Mac devices using M1 ARM-based chips.
Effortlessly recover BitLocker workloads
MSPs can now take advantage of a streamlined, intuitive process to simplify the recovery of BitLocker-protected workloads all within Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud. They can recover disks, volumes and files encrypted by BitLocker with the same ease they’d expect recovering unencrypted files — all without the need to reboot or attempt other time-consuming workarounds.
Usage reporting for trial tenants in Autotask PSA and ConnectWise Manage
The February release of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud introduced the ability to provision clients as trial tenants Now, MSPs can enable reporting on usage for trial tenants by empowering service technicians to set up a pay-as-you-go (PAYG) or prepaid option with overage billing models, giving the customers a full experience of the Acronis Cyber Protect product.
