Partner Marketing Manager Japan
The Partner Marketing Manager Japan will be responsible for developing and supporting marketing programs and activities focusing on partners.
This position works closely with the Global and Japanese Marketing team and Sales team to understand business goals and objectives and translate those goals into measurable to- and through-partner demand generation or recruitment activities. This individual will partner with each Partner Account Manager to ensure that account-specific plans are in place and properly executed to drive pipeline.
This Partner Marketing Manager Japan will also be charted to increase mindshare in our partner community and ensure that partners are fully engaged and are actively promoting Acronis solutions to generate end user demand. This will be accomplished by defining the right mix of marketing activities and executing the tactics needed to acquire new prospects and to move them through the sales cycle.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own and manage relationships with the partner marketing team. Participate in regular partner business reviews (QBRs, business planning sessions) online or in person.
- Develop, execute, track, and report account specific marketing plans to drive sales pipeline for Acronis within distributors, managed cloud and channel partners.
- Analyze market data, trends, and competitor behavior to optimize joint marketing plans to support partner GTM.
- Oversee and orchestrate to- and through-partner event planning and execution, responsible for all deliverables and event logistics.
- Work with the Global Partner team to ensure smooth and timely execution of all partner marketing campaigns and communication plans including the global partner programs, partner newsletters, partner events and promotions, partner recruitment and onboarding, and the management of the Japanese Partner Portal.
- Support the Acronis Academy team to train, equip and motivate partners to sell Acronis solutions.
- Support partners in the execution of demand generation programs (through partner marketing) including marketing events and digital programs (advertising, campaigns, SEM) for resellers and customers.
- Manage the end-to-end MDF process including proposal management, review, acceptance/rejection and proof of performance, ensuring investments are effectively utilized to drive demand generation activities with the highest ROI.
- Provide regular feedback to Global Marketing teams on marketing assets, content needs to maximize and accelerate partner growth.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of partner marketing programs and activities incl. partner recruitment and activation, partner originated pipeline, partner reach, frequency and yield.
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Relevant higher education degree or long-term experience in marketing
- At least four years of experience in IT channel marketing and/or partner account management (e.g. budgeting, planning and program execution)
- Excellent negotiation skills to develop channel marketing opportunities with partners through joint marketing plans and co-funding
- Good understanding of how to penetrate into SMB and cloud service provider market
- Planning/project management with strong multi-tasking capabilities
- Action orientated, proactive, flexible, hardworking and full of energy
- Ability to perform job functions independently with limited supervision
- Good verbal/written communications in English
