Today’s internet speeds worldwide are 30 percent faster on average than last year, according to the recently published November 2017 Speedtest Global Index from Ookla, a global broadband speed test company that operates the famous speedtest.net website.

The United States took the 12th spot with 75.94Mbps. The United Kingdom landed in 26th place with 50.90Mbps, while Germany took 27th place with 48.59Mbps, Australia was 53rd with 26.21Mbps, and Algeria, which closed the list, placed 133rd with a mere 3.76Mbps fixed broadband download speed.
