The IBM ServerProven designation means that the Acronis solution has been successfully implemented, tested and validated by IBM in a real-world environment.
IBM ServerProven certification is intended for IBM customers to identify compatible, reliable solutions for their business-critical needs and IBM ServerProven solutions like Acronis True Image are evaluated for their compatibility with IBM eServers in a real-world customer production environment.

To earn the IBM ServerProven certification, Acronis had to submit and verify evidence of its Acronis True Image product on one or more IBM Systems in a real-world customer environment. In this particular case, the IBM customer using Acronis software turned out to be one of IBM's own development labs.
As an IBM ServerProven product, Acronis True Image can help IBM customers lower their total acquisition costs through cost-saving rebates and special offers from IBM.
